Responsibilities
- Operate a CDL Class B vehicle to perform local pick-ups and deliveries on assigned routes
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS and routing systems
- Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, updates, or changes
- Complete required electronic logs and reports, including ELDs and DVIRs
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including fuel, tires, and safety checks
- Drive safely in all weather conditions, including winter driving in Maine
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and driving record check (MVR)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Experience with roll-off, front-load, or rear-load trucks is a plus, but not required
- Paid training available for qualified candidates
Compensation
$61,700 – $81,200 per year plus performance and safety bonuses.
