We are seeking a dedicated and skilled lawn applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various treatments and solutions to enhance the health and appearance of landscapes and lawns. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control, lawn care, and landscape maintenance. The Applicator will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery to apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides effectively.
Conduct thorough assessments of lawns and landscapes to determine treatment needs.
Utilize hand tools for precise application of treatments in various environments.
Drive to job sites safely and efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines during application processes.
Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry best practices and product knowledge.
Experience
Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or pest control is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with operating machinery and power tools is highly desirable.
A valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial for success in this role.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must obtain a Maine Board of Pesticide Control applicators license. Paid training and study hours provided.
Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
