Sawyer's is a new butcher shop opening the first week of August in downtown Portland. We source whole animals from Maine farms and offer a full service butcher counter. We also have a made to order sandwich menu with house made cold cuts from the animals we bring in. We offer a small selection of retail items, grab and go food along with beer and wine.
We are looking for a couple people for our front of house team.
Responsibilities include:
-greeting people as they come in
-working the register
-restocking shelves
-pouring beer and wine
-fielding any questions around the products in the meat case (we provide educational training)
-maintaining general cleanliness of the front of house
Hours of operation will be:
Wednesday-Saturday 11am-6pm
Sunday 10am-4pm
No late nights!
We pride ourselves on hospitality and taking care of people, so if you are looking to just work a register and go home...need not apply!
