Asa C. Adams Elementary School is seeking a compassionate, collaborative
Elementary School Counselor to join our student support team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school community that values innovation, teamwork, and whole-child development.
As our counselor, you’ll help create a positive school climate by delivering engaging classroom lessons, leading small groups, providing short-term individual counseling, supporting students through challenges, and partnering with families and staff to remove barriers to learning. You’ll also play an important role in strengthening our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and implementing a comprehensive counseling program.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in School Counseling or a related field.
- Valid State of Maine School Counselor Certification.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
