We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook who is looking to grow their skills and move into a leadership position to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation, possess a passion for cooking, and thrive in a quality focused environment.
## Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Ensure food safety standards are met in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
## Skills
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position in the food industry
- Knowledge of fine dining and catering practices
- Strong understanding of food safety guidelines
