Location: This is a full-time position that can be located in Augusta, ME or Portland, ME and allows for partial telework with management approval.

Core Responsibilities:
This position is professional social services work of a supervisory nature related to home and community-based waiver services for adults with intellectual disabilities or autism.
As a Waiver Services Manager, you will:
• Supervise and support four DD Resource Coordinators and one Office Assistant,
• Oversee eligibility determinations and service authorizations,
• Respond to inquiries from the general public, applicants, and waiver members,
• Collaborate with waiver providers and case management agencies, and
• Participate as a witness in administrative hearings.
Minimum Qualifications:
An eight (8) year combination of education and/or professional experience in social services to include two (2) years of related program management experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
• At least one (1) year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities, and
• A bachelor’s degree in a human services field (including, but not limited to: sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology).
