Crispy Gai is looking for a confident, experienced shift leader to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who loves restaurants, knows how to create a great guest experience, and can help keep a busy service running smoothly. This is a working leadership position, you’ll be on the floor alongside the team, serving guests while helping guide the shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the front-of-house team during service and help keep the shift organized and running smoothly
• Set the tone for warm, energetic, and attentive hospitality
• Help implement side work protocol and make sure opening, service, and closing responsibilities are completed
• Support servers, bartenders, hosts, and runners throughout the shift
• Help troubleshoot guest concerns and service issues
• Communicate with the kitchen and FOH team to keep service moving
• Help train and support new team members
• Monitor dining room flow, cleanliness, and overall guest experience
• Help maintain appropriate inventory levels for front-of-house supplies including containers, bags, utensils, napkins, and other necessary packaging
• Communicate low-stock items and operational needs to management
• Help ensure Crispy Gai's standards for food, service, cleanliness, and hospitality are consistently met
WHO YOU ARE:
• At least 2 years of hospitality experience in a server or bartender role (management experience preferred)
• Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions during a busy service
• A natural leader who can give direction while remaining approachable and respectful
• Organized and dependable
• Calm under pressure
• Excellent communicator
• Someone who notices what needs to be done without always being asked
• Hospitality-minded and genuinely interested in taking care of guests
• Comfortable working as part of a team rather than simply overseeing one
THIS IS A WORKING LEADERSHIP ROLE
You won't be sitting in the office, you will be on the floor, serving guests and working alongside the team. We are looking for someone who can step up when needed, keep everyone moving in the same direction, and help create the kind of restaurant environment where both guests and coworkers want to be.
• Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday
• Pay: Hourly + tips
