We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented cleaner to help keep our vacation rentals in the Machias area clean, welcoming, and ready for guests. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working independently, and want an ongoing relationship with a growing rental business, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a contract cleaning opportunity, with work scheduled around guest turnovers rather than fixed weekly shifts. The amount of work varies with bookings, and some weekend and holiday availability is needed. Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided.
What you’ll do:
Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas between guest stays.
Wash linens and towels, change bedding, and make beds neatly.
Restock toiletries and household supplies.
Report damage, missing items, or maintenance needs.
Complete a final walkthrough so each property is ready before guests arrive.

Ability to work independently and complete turnovers before check-in.
Good communication and responsiveness.
Reliable transportation to properties in the Machias area.
Cleaning or housekeeping experience; vacation rental experience is a plus.

Compensation: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience. Individual cleaners and established cleaning businesses are welcome to apply.
