SMAA is seeking a part-time, 30 hours per week, Site Coordinator for our Biddeford Nutrition site. The ideal candidate enjoys working as part of a team, finds helping others extremely gratifying, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and pivot from one priority to the next, be proficient with office equipment and working with a computer and have reliable transportation. Responsibilities
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Site Coordinator will work closely with volunteers, clients and team members across the organization and will support the Congregate and Home Delivered Meal Programs. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist the Site Manager with recruitment, training and recognition of site volunteers
- Support management of food inventory
- Coordinate and ensure meal delivery
- Assist Site Manager to organize and plan Congregate meals
- Assist in program reporting requirements
- Cooperate fully with and lend full support to all program initiatives
- Complete client intakes and eligibility assessments
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and ensure smooth operation of site
Qualifications

- Experience working with older adults and volunteers preferred
- Experience working within a nutrition program, non-profit or other service delivery program preferred
- Ability to perform independently with attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Commitment to the agency’s mission and core values
- Capacity to work collegially and effectively with staff throughout the agency
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Maintains employee, client and SMAA confidentiality
Salary and Benefits
This is a part-time position, 30 hours per week, with an hourly pay rate of $17.00.
