Join Our Team
We are seeking passionate practitioners to join Pine Tree Recovery Center's team! As a PMHNP, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health and substance use disorders.
You will play a crucial role in helping patients overcome their addiction and achieve long-term recovery.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health
- Current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting preferred
- Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for clients within 48 hours of admission
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide follow-up care and medication management
- Lead twice-monthly therapy groups
- Participate in quarterly leadership meetings and weekly triage meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver holistic care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in psychiatric and substance abuse care
Coordinated Care: Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients. Participate in team meetings, treatment planning sessions, and case conferences to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care delivery.
Patient Education: Educate patients about the medical aspects of addiction, withdrawal symptoms, and the effects of substance abuse on overall health. Offer guidance on healthy lifestyle choices, relapse prevention strategies, and harm reduction techniques.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and medication administration. Adhere to legal and ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality and consent.
Pay: $48.00 - $64.00 per hour
