Clinical Dietitian - MaineHealth
Maine Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor
Make a meaningful difference through nutrition-focused patient care.
Maine Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Clinical Dietitian to join our Food & Nutrition Services team.
Our department is dedicated to providing exceptional nutritional care to our inpatient behavioral health population. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to work directly with patients, assessing their individual nutritional needs, developing personalized care plans, and supporting their overall health and well-being.
The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical knowledge with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion, flexibility, and an understanding of the unique challenges associated with behavioral health care.
As an important member of our multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Dietitian will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and our Food & Nutrition Services staff to ensure that nutritional care is seamlessly integrated into each patient’s treatment experience.
While the position is primarily clinical, the Dietitian will also serve as a valuable resource to our food service operation, working in partnership with the Food Service Director and culinary team to support the nutritional needs of our patients.
Looking ahead, our department is preparing to implement NETMENU food service management software in fall 2027. The Dietitian will have an opportunity to contribute clinical expertise and nutritional guidance throughout this transition. Experience with CBORD software or similar is desired.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about patient-centered care, values teamwork, and welcomes the opportunity to make a positive impact in a specialized behavioral health environment.
Must hold a current RD certification for the state of Maine.
