Job Description
Job Title: Float Teacher
Reports To: Owner

Summary: Responsible for daily care of children, classroom schedules and curriculum by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Applies knowledge of sound early childhood education, development concepts, and principles within the goals and philosophy of the school.
2. Monitors and observes the daily operations of the infant classroom for safety, positive interaction, and productive education of activity.
3. Reviews and approves lesson plans on a weekly basis.
4. Communicates with parents/guardians regarding their attending child and reports all communication to the owner.
5. Maintains a happy, nurturing, and relaxed atmosphere in the classroom while meeting their daily needs.

Certificates and Licenses: (Stepping Stones will provide the training)
● 30 hours of annual training in a related position as required by the state of Maine
● CPR certification
● First aid certification

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
