Van Syckle Kia in Bangor is a family owned and operated dealership and has immediate openings for several full-time experienced automotive technicians to join our family oriented team atmosphere. The work schedule can be either four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts, including Saturdays.

Job Summary:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing work as outlined on repair orders including factory maintenance, diagnostics and recommendations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform work outlined on repair orders in an accurate and efficient manner following dealership and factory guidelines.
- Diagnose customer concern and report to the service advisor with recommendations and findings.
- Complete repairs with customer approval.
- Perform road tests to diagnose and then verify proper repairs
- Maintain shop area and customer vehicle cleanliness
- Maintain customer satisfaction by giving prompt updates to the service advisor so they can maintain excellent communication with the customer
- Adhere to company and manufacturer policies and procedures
- Maintain all relevant online Kia training
Job Requirements:
- State inspection license
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Former automotive technician experience
