Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Cannabis Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, educating customers about various strains and products, and ensuring compliance with all State regulations. There is a 90-day maximum probationary period where new hires make $15 per hour. After your probationary period, you will become a 'Budtender' with standard pay of $20 per hour. New Hires are expected to have zero absences during their probationary period.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
- Educate customers on different cannabis strains, products, and their effects.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with product selections and recommendations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments through POS systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized display of products to enhance the shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and local regulations regarding cannabis sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and excellent customer service.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the dispensary.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is preferred.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and the ability to communicate effectively about them is a plus.
- A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences are crucial for success in this role.
