Overview
We are seeking a talented Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering requirements, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and working with the Microsoft Power Platform. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our systems and processes align with our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- UAT Testing:
- Develop and execute test plans for User Acceptance Testing to validate system functionality.
- Coordinate UAT efforts with end-users and provide necessary support during the testing phase.
- Document and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Microsoft Power Platform:
- Leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to create innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of applications and workflows using the Power Platform.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the use of Power Platform tools.
- System Analysis:
- Conduct analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement system enhancements and integrations.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to recommend changes and upgrades.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create comprehensive documentation, including requirements specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate project progress and outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in systems analysis.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Strong understanding of UAT processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
- This position may require working in an office setting or remotely, depending on company policies and project requirements. Flexibility in working arrangements may be available.
