SU MMARY
T he ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with students as well as
their parents, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a keen ability to multitask and prioritize. A strong
c andidate will articulate the school’s mission, culture, programs, and value-added proposition to prospective
families. Strong interpersonal, analytical, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for athletics are essential.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of a highly productive team, eager to learn new skills, and pitch in
as needed. This position requires some evening hours and travel.
ES SENTIAL F UNCTIONS
R eporting to the Director of Recruiting and Enrollment Management the Admission Associate of will:
Admission & Recruiting:
A nswer incoming calls, applications, and enrollment inquiries. Discusses school programs in depth with
i nquiring families or potential partners. A ssist with a ll aspects of the admission process, including
communications, visits, tours, interviews, open houses, travel, and admission committees. Work with head
coaches in the recruitment process including evaluating and communicating with prospective student-athletes.
Database Management:
As a member of the admission’s team, you will update the current database with pertinent information regarding
prospective families, consultants, and other partners. Responsible for running reports and analyzing data.
Event Management/Planning:
Planning and executing events including but not limited to open houses, registration, and new student welcome
reception.
A dditional Duties:
Support special events related to recruitment, enrollment, and retention. Some travel, evening and weekend will be
required.
Q UALIFICATIONS AND A TTRIBUTES
- B achelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- T wo or more years of experience in a related professional environment is preferred. Experience with
independent schools is beneficial.
- E xcellent writing and editing skills for content creation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Experience with G Suite and relational databases preferred.
- Experience as a student-athlete or coach is not required but beneficial.
C OMPENSATION AND BE NEFITS
Competitive salary commensurate with experience $40,000 - $50,000 annually
