The Extraction Specialist is responsible for performing closed-loop hydrocarbon extractions while maintaining high quality standards as set by the Lab Manager. Lab employees are responsible for operating within the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy strict guidelines for compliance testing on the product during all phases of lab work.
Responsibilities:
• Works with Lab Manager and other extraction specialist(s) on overall scheduling and planning for finished products.
• Maintain inventory of extraction solvents and filtration media.
• Internal tracking of batches on spreadsheets and excel work
• Accurately document all extractions, and properly/accurately log extractions into state mandated track and trace software (METRC).

• Able to perform maintenance on closed loop system.
• Knowledge of operating hydrocarbon closed loop system preferred

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must obtain IIC card per the State of Maine OCP
