Ocean Breeze RV is a full service RV center seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our fast paced service department. Do you enjoy working with your hands? Are you mechanically inclined? Do you have a passion for taking things apart , understanding how they work, and fixing them? We want to talk to you. Responsibilities will include routine servicing and repair of RVs. Qualified applicants should have basic working knowledge of some the following RV systems: plumbing, 110V and 12V wiring, basic electrical diagnostics, L.P. gas, basic hydraulics and carpentry.

RV experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with prior experience in plumbing, carpentry, mechanical repairs, marine repairs or auto bodywork who is also motivated, willing to learn, and a team player.

Essential Job Functions:

• Document, completed diagnostic tests and repairs or replacement services.

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance

• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements

• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards

• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers

• Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed

Essential Job Skills:

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience

• Minimum 1 year service technician, maintenance, home construction or marine experience.

• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, bending or being on a creeper.

• May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices or help of others.

• Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working on ladders or with electrical and welding equipment.

•Must be able to interact with customers in a professional manner.

• Possible exposure to environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and rain.

• Must furnish own, basic hand tools and personal protective equipment.

• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
