About
As a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and strong academic standing, I believe my educational background, combined with my diverse work experience, aligns well with the responsibilities necessary to fill the role of a research assistant.
Throughout my time at university, I developed a solid foundation in research methodologies while actively participating in UCF SONA research, where attention to detail and adherence to ethical guidelines were paramount. These skills are directly applicable to supporting clinical trials and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. My education instilled in me a profound understanding of the importance of meticulous data management and ethical considerations, both essential in clinical research. My well rounded work experience makes me prepared to take on a more academic approach at this time to continue building my graduate school portfolio of experience.
In my previous roles, particularly as a Client Success Scheduler at Huseby, Inc., I honed my time management skills and became adept at handling a high volume of requests while maintaining a high level of communication satisfaction. This experience has prepared me for the dynamic environment of clinical research, where I would be required to enter data, manage documentation, and ensure that all timelines are met efficiently.
Furthermore, my position as a Receptionist at Sweetwater Yoga & Fitness and my time as a yoga instructor required me to engage professionally with clients, assuring their needs were met and questions answered, reflecting my ability to create a supportive atmosphere for participants.
I hope to be a positive contribution to a research team so that it may go smoothly and efficiently.
