About
In the 1990s, I worked as a peer support counselor at Bayside Neurorehabilitation in Portland, Maine, a subsidiary of Goodwill Industries. Over time, the position was not reimbursable, as there was no billing code associated with the service. I had to leave the position and sought out jobs in education, helping people with special needs. I have dedicated my career to helping people with special needs, being a survivor of a TBI that occurred in 1989. I have decided I want to return to my roots and work with the survivor population again.
