Dear Recruitment Team:
After 14 years as the HR Manager at MERT Enterprises, Inc. in Bangor, ME, I retired from that position on 7/31/2024. I’ve taken a couple of months off, and I’m ready to get back in the workforce.
My intent is to work 5-6 more years before I fully retire. I’m looking for Part-Time, Temporary, Short-Term, Seasonal, Administrative/Project Work or “fill in work” to cover Leaves of Absence. I would also look at Full-Time positions in the Bangor area. I don’t need insurance benefits as I’m on Medicare Advantage. I can be flexible with my work schedule and can work in-office or remote.
I’m actively looking for work in Recruitment/Onboarding/Employee Benefits/Worker’s Comp, Administrative Support, or for office projects businesses can never get to; I just want to keep busy, contribute and pass on my knowledge.
My strengths with ‘soft skills’ are the ability to use critical thinking, common sense, mentoring and problem-solving and I can shift priorities quickly. I’ve been doing HR and Staffing since 1985 and have some very diversified, transferrable skills that might be able to benefit a business in the Bangor, ME area.
