About
At present, I’m semi-retired and have been working for the past 1½ years in a part-time temporary position as the Front Desk/Administrative Assistant at Bangor Area Staffing Solutions (BASS). Please do not contact my employer as I’m still working there.
My intent is to work 3-4 more years before I fully retire. I’m hoping for 20-25 hrs./wk. and could work in-person, remote or hybrid settings. My preference is for Part-Time, Temporary, Long-Term, or Job-Share positions during the weekday. I regularly use eEmpACT, which is a very robust applicant and client database tracking system (ATS). I use MS Outlook daily for scheduling In-Person or Zoom interviews. Additionally, in my current job at Bangor Area Staffing Solutions, I filled in for 8 weeks at one of our clients using their medical scheduling software exclusively for working with military veteran patients.
With my extensive professional experience, I could be a “utility player” assisting in a variety of administrative capacities. I would not be interested in Per Diem, PRN or On-Call positions with no regular schedule.
Some of my cumulative experience includes:
• Administrative Support/Customer Service/Front Desk – 25 years
• Recruitment/Staffing/Background Checking/Onboarding – 35+ years
• Worker’s Compensation – 22 years
• Employee Insurance Benefits – 17 years
• Various types of Employee Leaves of Absence – 17 years
I don’t need health insurance benefits as I’m on Medicare Advantage. Also, having Social Security Retirement Income and wanting to remain under the “cap” of what I can earn, a pay rate ranging from $17.00-$20.00/hr. would be ideal for me.
My strengths with ‘soft skills’ are the ability to use critical thinking, common sense, years of customer service and problem-solving and I can shift priorities quickly and I dress professionally.
Please feel free to call me on my cell phone at 207-318-9772 to discuss.
