Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Select appropriate paints, coatings, and finishes based on project specifications and color theory principles.
Use hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and spray equipment—including airless paint sprayers—to achieve smooth, even coverage.
Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications.
Perform specialized painting tasks including commercial painting, construction painting, restoration projects, stucco application, and industrial coating.
Execute related carpentry work like trim carpentry and fixture installation to ensure seamless finishes.
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites involving scaffolding, power tools, welding equipment, and masonry materials. Experience
Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong understanding of construction estimating and project planning.
Familiarity with construction site procedures including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and renovation processes.
Hands-on knowledge of hand tools, power tools, airless spray systems, welding techniques, and concrete finishing methods.
Background in plastering, stucco application, masonry work, framing carpentry, caulking techniques, and restoration efforts is highly desirable.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates accurately.
Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to renovation or remodeling projects is preferred.

Pay: $25.07 - $35.00 per hour
