- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Select appropriate paints, coatings, and finishes based on project specifications and color theory principles.
- Use hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and spray equipment—including airless paint sprayers—to achieve smooth, even coverage.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications.
- Perform specialized painting tasks including commercial painting, construction painting, restoration projects, stucco application, and industrial coating.
- Execute related carpentry work like trim carpentry and fixture installation to ensure seamless finishes.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites involving scaffolding, power tools, welding equipment, and masonry materials. Experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong understanding of construction estimating and project planning.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and renovation processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of hand tools, power tools, airless spray systems, welding techniques, and concrete finishing methods.
- Background in plastering, stucco application, masonry work, framing carpentry, caulking techniques, and restoration efforts is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates accurately.
- Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to renovation or remodeling projects is preferred.

Pay: $25.07 - $35.00 per hour
