We are seeking a motivated team member dedicated to enhancing patient care withing our expanding practice. The radiology technologist will work in a dual role as a medical assistant and ensures the best quality experience and performance using our Rayence Imaging System. The radiologist technologist will collaborate with an energetic, swiftly-moving team in providing competent and compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities

Must be available for 10 hour shifts from 8am-6pm and 8 hour shifts 8am-4pm (Saturdays only)
Must have some weekend availability
No work on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or Easter.
Greet patients and provide instructions to all visitors in a polite and professional manner
Maintain the readiness of the urgent care clinical rooms, x-ray, and x-ray room
Perform specified clinic tasks and adhere to established policies and procedures
Determine and collect each patient’s medical history and chief complaint
Assist the medical provider as required
Provide overall support for Provider and medical operations
Obtain vital signs
Obtain and document patient history
Understand and enforce standard healthcare regulatory requirements
Collect and maintain all patient and business documents while maintaining confidentiality
Perform office procedures including all x-ray duties
Document Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventions
Assure HIPAA and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliance

Minimum Qualifications

Certified radiology technologist. Urgent care experience preferred, but not required. Certification & experience as a medical assistant a plus, but not required.
