We are seeking a motivated team member dedicated to enhancing patient care withing our expanding practice. The radiology technologist will work in a dual role as a medical assistant and ensures the best quality experience and performance using our Rayence Imaging System. The radiologist technologist will collaborate with an energetic, swiftly-moving team in providing competent and compassionate care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Must be available for 10 hour shifts from 8am-6pm and 8 hour shifts 8am-4pm (Saturdays only)
- Must have some weekend availability
- No work on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or Easter.
- Greet patients and provide instructions to all visitors in a polite and professional manner
- Maintain the readiness of the urgent care clinical rooms, x-ray, and x-ray room
- Perform specified clinic tasks and adhere to established policies and procedures
- Determine and collect each patient’s medical history and chief complaint
- Assist the medical provider as required
- Provide overall support for Provider and medical operations
- Obtain vital signs
- Obtain and document patient history
- Understand and enforce standard healthcare regulatory requirements
- Collect and maintain all patient and business documents while maintaining confidentiality
- Perform office procedures including all x-ray duties
- Document Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventions
- Assure HIPAA and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliance
Minimum Qualifications
Certified radiology technologist. Urgent care experience preferred, but not required. Certification & experience as a medical assistant a plus, but not required.
