Full-Time, Day Shift
Position Summary
Under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and according to established policies and procedures, uses the remote visual monitoring system to observe the patients and provide supervision to 10-12 patients at a time for a number of safety related reasons. The first line of action will be to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in any at risk behaviors. Next will be to summon the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Monitor staff will be knowledgeable and abide by patient and institutional confidentiality. The Companion Telesitter will maintain an orderly monitoring station, document events and any changes to observation expectations within the monitoring system.
