Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a dedicated, highly organized Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the growing Structural Heart Program in our well-established cardiology practice. A strong background in cardiology is preferred; new graduates and experienced practitioners are both encouraged to apply!
In this position, you will join the region’s only Structural Heart Program where you can find meaningful work through the coordination of patient care at all levels for those with structural heart diseases.
Position Details/Responsibilities:
· ACNP/PA should possess a solid background in cardiology
· Coordinate inpatient consults, diagnostic testing, treatments, and follow-up appointments.
· Aid in procedures: admit, round, and discharge patients. Types of procedures include: TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, ASD/PFO closure, and Paravalvular leak closure.
· Ability to multitask throughout the workday.
· Oversee a large group of people (i.e., support staff, providers, other program members).
