Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients for meals.
- Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes and adhere to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Support meal preparation by assembling dishes and ensuring timely service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.
- Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality food service.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation of food items.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- A passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
- Experience in dietary aide roles or catering services is a plus but not mandatory.
