Oxford County is seeking qualified applications
for the position of full-time 911 Dispatcher.
The position involves substantial public contact, receiving incoming radio and phone calls, and entering information into the computer aided dispatch system. Individuals must be able to multitask with accurate typing and computer skills.
This facility handles multiple calls from different agencies which will need to be dispatched out simultaneously. Applicants must be able to remain calm and maintain composure and treat people with respect even under pressure in stressful situations. Individuals must possess the ability to consistently think clearly; act quickly; and calmly in a wide variety of situations.

Salary: $48,887 to $54,163 per year based on experience.
Shift Differential 6:00 pm to 6:00 am $.50 per hour.
Vacation Time-2 weeks after first year
Sick Time-8 Hours per month
Personal Time-24 hours a year
12 paid holidays in addition to base salary (5 at time and a half)
Employee 100% paid health insurance = $13,696 + $300 cash Per Quarter (if no dependents covered)
Employee with spouse or family = $27,317

We work a two week rotating 12 hour shifts(36—48)
which gives you
3 day weekend every other week.
