Perpetual Bloom is looking for a few fellow plant lovers to come enjoy the outdoors and get dirty with us this season. We specialize in creating and maintaining fabulous residential gardens and take pride in our attention to detail.
We are looking to fill 2 full time positions. Experience preferred. Season typically starts 1st week in April and ends just before Thanksgiving.
Tasks include installing garden designs, weeding, deadheading, mulching, composting, edging, pruning, vegetable garden planting and maintenance, container planting, and more. We don't mow or plow. Just garden.
Applicants please be physically fit and able to lift heavy items like large terra cotta plant pots, heavy B&B trees, wheelbarrows of mulch, and big bags of soil.
We always work in a team setting, so must be able to mesh well with others.
We are excited about this season and all the projects we have lined up! Come lend us a hand, and learn all you need to know about tending to all types of gardens. Also, we work on the ocean a lot...so that's a bonus :)
We offer paid time off for full time employees starting second season, retirement package, and seasonal bonuses. Ask us about our 50 plant initiative to earn an instant raise! We care about our employees and express that monetarily as much as we possibly can. We offer above industry hourly pay based on experience.
We have a Monday-Thursday 4 day work week. Starting time each morning is 7:00 at our shop in Westbrook and plan to get back around 5 each evening.
