Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Property Operations & Guest Relations professional to oversee the daily operations of our inn while ensuring outstanding guest experiences. This role combines property management, some laundry and housekeeping functions, maintenance coordination, and exceptional customer service to create a welcoming and efficient environment for both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:Operations Management:
- Oversee and perform the daily operations of the inn including housekeeping, conversing with guests, maintenance, staff schedules, and minimal front desk type coordination.
- Ensure all facilities and amenities are well-maintained, clean, and fully operational.
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms after housekeeping completes a clean
- Manage our laundry-service vendor that does all our sheets and pillowcases (not towels), housekeepers and their schedules, preferrably mowing and edging the lawns once a week
- Monitor and control inventory, ordering supplies as needed while managing
Guest Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, professional, and personalized experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests to maintain high satisfaction and positive reviews.
- Guests Self Check In but you're available as needed.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the guest experience, including personalized services, local partnerships, and special events.
- Address and resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance staff.
- Train and mentor employees to ensure excellent service and operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive and motivated work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous management, or property operations preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Proficiency in reservation and property management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and facility operations.
- Strong communication
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
