Highlights:
- Leadership That Lifts Others: Provide direct support and mentorship to Patient Access Supervisors, Practice Managers, and emerging leaders across the organization. Guide day-to-day operations, coach to performance, and foster a high-performing, patient-centered culture.
- Data-Driven Performance: Monitor key performance indicators like schedule fill rates, registration accuracy, and patient experience. Use insights to drive improvement and support strategic planning alongside cross-functional partners.
- Operational Excellence & Innovation: Lead process improvements using LEAN or PDSA methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce scheduling gaps, and optimize patient access. Champion initiatives that enhance efficiency and quality at every step.
- Training & Resource Development: Standardize and maintain onboarding, workflow documentation, and training materials for administrative staff. Support consistent, high-quality front-end service through retraining and education.
- Technology & System Optimization: Act as a super user for key IT systems and workflows. Support digital front-door tools, EMR rollouts, and cross-team adoption of new technologies that improve access and care delivery.
- Communication & Team Culture: Lead regular meetings, foster collaboration, and cultivate a culture of critical thinking, accountability, and respect. Support practice leadership in building high-functioning, mission-driven teams.
- Ethics, Equity & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and compliance. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ensure alignment with laws, policies, and organizational values.
- Professionalism & Collaboration: Model professionalism and a strong work ethic. Provide administrative support where needed and represent PCHC’s mission with integrity, accuracy, and pride.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A college degree is preferred. High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Must have at least three years’ experience in the role of Patient Access Supervisor or Practice Manager.
- Minimum of five years of experience in outpatient, primary healthcare or related professional setting required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required. Relevant experience in a position with some leadership responsibility at PCHC may be substituted for previous supervisory experience.
- Having a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required. Any concerns raised by the results of a driving record check will be subject to an individualized review to determine whether the infraction is relevant to the individual’s ability to perform the responsibilities of the position in accordance with PCHC’s Automobile Safety and Background Check Policy.
