Responsibilities:
- Booking travel and adding travel details to calendar, oftentimes across multiple timezones and foreign countries
- Researching and planning travel itineraries
- Posting sponsored Instagram Stories based on content outlined in Google Docs/Dropbox
- Pinterest
- Bookkeeping - categorizing expenses and sending invoices
- Filtering emails, deciding which ones are junk, which ones need responses, and sending the appropriate response
- Calling/speaking with customer service reps on behalf of Elise (for example Chase Rewards, Marriott, etc)
- Scheduling personal appointments
- Reposting content across social media
- Editing Instagram Reels and Tiktoks
- Email marketing and newsletters
- Community engagement - responding to comments and DMs on social
- Following up with leads for What The Fab Media
Requirements:
- Be an independent, self-starter who executes tasks on time and with a high level of attention to detail
- Confident in decision making and taking action
- Competent with technical issues. Dropbox isn’t syncing properly? You’re able to Google it, figure it out and fix it.
- Social media savvy—comfortable posting sponsored Stories
- Have at least 2 years of experience as a VA; experience with social media and booking travel preferred
- Based in the US
- Must be available M - F during normal working hours
- Must be available to communicate on Slack
Hours:
- This is a virtual, part-time, contractor position
- M - F (we don’t like weekend pings :))
- 45 - 50 hours per month

- What The Fab is a popular travel and lifestyle website. Our mission is to help women find fabulous in the every day, whether that’s booking their next epic vacation or getting inspiration for an at-home manicure.
- What The Fab Media is a newer part of my business, launched in January 2025, where I offer wedding content creation services. It’s been taking off and I’m hiring a team of Associate content creators to help me shoot weddings and events!
- We aren’t big on stress. We’re not saving babies here. So, while we will expect you to work efficiently and get things done, we focus on open communication and getting things done right the first go around.
