Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. Duties
- Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Operate the cash register and Aloha POS system accurately for processing customer transactions.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of deli products and assist in restocking as needed.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Familiarity with café operations or experience using cash registers is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and customer service.
