We’re looking for a Millwork & Woodshop Manager who shares our passion for exceptional craft, clear scheduling, and delivering a full-service, elevated client experience. You’ll lead our in-house millwork division and work closely with design, sales, estimating, and construction teams to ensure every custom woodwork piece reflects Hay Runner’s commitment to quality, precision, and innovation.
As Millwork & Woodshop Manager, you’ll:
🔹 Lead and mentor our woodshop team to deliver beautiful, high-quality work
🔹 Oversee scheduling, production workflow, and quality control
🔹 Integrate millwork early and efficiently into project plans with cross-team partners
🔹 Support pricing and estimating to ensure millwork is scoped and valued right
🔹 Help refine systems for drawings, approvals, production tracking, and shop communication
🔹 Balance quality, schedule, and budget considerations in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
✔ 10+ years of experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, or architectural woodworking
✔ Proven leadership in managing a high-performing woodshop/team
✔ Deep understanding of materials, production techniques, and finish quality
✔ Strong communicator who collaborates well with both technical and non-technical teammates
✔ Comfortable with architectural drawings and modern shop machinery
✔ Experience with CAD/CAM
