North Atlantic Painting & Builders, a premier residential construction and finishing company based in Rockport, Maine, is seeking dedicated and experienced professionals to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end residential repaints, renovations, and new construction across Rockport and the surrounding Midcoast Maine communities.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
1. Experienced Residential Carpenters
We are looking for skilled carpenters who take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship on high-end residential projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform all phases of residential carpentry, including framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, window/door installation, and decking.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately.
Ensure all work meets high quality standards, local building codes, and project specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Lead Carpenters will be responsible for crew supervision, scheduling, and project execution management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in residential carpentry (2+ years preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Possession of necessary hand tools and basic power tools.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
2. Exterior Seasonal Painting Crew
We are building our top-tier exterior painting crew for the upcoming spring/summer season, focusing exclusively on high-end residential repaints and new construction finishes.
Responsibilities:
Thorough preparation of surfaces, including washing, scraping, sanding, and caulking.
Expert application of various coatings (paint, stain, primer) using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
Adherence to strict quality control standards for a flawless finish.
Set up and take down equipment safely (ladders, staging, lifts).
Manage the daily workflow, product inventory, and quality assurance for the crew.
Complete jobs in a timly mannor in order to keep to the season schedule.
Qualifications:
Prior professional exterior painting experience, preferably on residential projects (seasonal experience welcome).
Crew of at least two
Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
Comfortable working at heights.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
