Bucks Harbor Marina is a family run marina in beautiful Brooksville Maine. We operate over 30 transient moorings and a full fuel service dock. Our Marina is unique in that it facilitates community access for a large group of our residents. Our proximity to the Wooden Boat school and the Eggemoggin Reach means we are often home to some of the most beautiful boats in the world!
Our marina is looking for our next Seasonal Shop manager. Our retail shop not only facilitates our fuel sales, but sells local art, beer and wine, clothing and marine items. The retail manager is responsible for inventory control, as well as the day to day management of our young dock staff in partnership with the General Manager.
Our Marina also has a thriving boat rental business that includes 5 power boats and the Classic Boat Collective, a separate community initiative that provides access to 7 Classic day sailors on a membership basis.
Our daily operations include opening and closing tasks (Cleaning, inventory management) and helping the numerous transient boaters that come by on a day to day basis. We would love for our new Shop Manager to have some experience on the water so they can help with dock tasks, and also so you can take advantage of our numerous marina vessels!
We utilize technology such as Slack for communication and Dockwa for our POS systems. The potential applicant should feel comfortable with these systems or learning them.
Bucks Harbor Marina operates from Late May until Mid-October. This position begins in early May.
Pay starts at $25 per hour and depends on experience.
