Position Summary
McCormack Building Supply is seeking an experienced and creative Kitchen and Bath Specialist to join the team. The ideal candidate will combine a passion for design with excellent sales skills and a deep understanding of the industry. This position involves working directly with both homeowners and contractors to design functional and beautiful kitchen and bath spaces, from initial concept to final sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Consultation and Design: Collaborate with homeowners and contractors to understand their project goals, aesthetic preferences, and budget.
- CAD Design: Use 2020 Design software to create detailed and accurate 3D renderings and layouts for client projects.
- Sales and Quoting: Prepare comprehensive and competitive price quotations for cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and other materials based on project designs.
- Product Expertise: Maintain a thorough knowledge of product offerings, vendor catalogs, and industry trends to assist customers in selecting the best materials.
- Project Management: Coordinate project details and specifications with internal team members and vendors to ensure smooth and timely project completion.
- Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the design and sales process.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven sales experience in the kitchen and bath industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with 2020 Design software.
- Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of kitchen and bath design principles, building codes, and product knowledge.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail for accuracy in measurements, designs, and estimates.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and customers.
