Position Summary:Under the direction of Warehouse Supervisor/Manager the Trainer, Warehouse is responsible for teaching new hires and provide refresher/ongoing training to existing warehouse associates on order selector, forklift and/or pallet jack job duties. The majority of work shift is dedicated to training activities and ensuring preferred work methods are learned, demonstrated, and followed. Demonstrates how to select food and non-food cases/products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems and palletize the product for loading and shipping. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities: - Teach, demonstrate, follow and enforce all Company preferred work methods and safety policies and practices.
- Follow and execute Company approved training program for all warehouse Associates.
- Complete required follow ups and training documentation.
- During non-training time, perform normal selector and/or other warehouse duties as directed or assigned.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, keep warehouse area, loading dock clear and clean and maintains all equipment as required. At the end of the shift complete all necessary paperwork.
- Provide regular feedback to trainees, warehouse associates and warehouse supervisor/manager regarding progress, training issues, successes, and related information.
- Communicate clearly, effectively and professionally with all associates, supervisors, customers and coworkers.
- May be required to use APT, MS Office Outlook, Excel and/or other systems/software in normal course of job.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
