eRelationship Specialist I (eBranch/call center)

Midcoast Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly individual to act as a full time eRelationship Specialist I in our Thomaston eBranch (call center). This position functions to expand and deepen member relationships through education of beneficial credit union products and services. Successful candidates must possess exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability maintain confidential information. This is a hybrid position with some in-office work required. The ability to report to a designated branch location is expected.
Role:
Provide direct member support for call activity and other electronic communication channels. Develop and deepen member relationships through educating, offering, and enrolling in Credit Union products and services. Seek to support the Credit Union's financial goals by delivering high quality service excellence through accurate and efficient transactions. Act in accordance with the Credit Union's Core Values to assist in achieving the Credit Union's mission.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and accurate member assistance through phone, online chats, e-mail communication, digital banking applications, as well as other identified assignments to deliver positive, high quality member experiences. Accurately and efficiently complete transactions, file maintenance, and other tasks. Independently assist members with basic account and technology troubleshooting inquires.
- Assess member relationship and offer beneficial aspects of the Credit Union's products and services including but not limited to deposit and e-Service products such as mobile and online banking, eAlerts, eStatements, BillPay, mobile check deposit, ATM / Card services, Shared Branching, IRA, Share Certificates, Safe Deposit boxes, lending products such as Consumer Loans, Credit Cards, and understand that we offer Home Equities and Mortgages, as well as ancillary products with our identified partners. Open sub deposit (CDs, Special Purpose Savings) account types for existing members using digital channels and Docusign options. Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and compliance regulations when performing tansactions or file maintenance.
- Establish positive working relationships across departments and collaborate on initiatives that deepen employee and member experiences by sharing knowledge and building resources. Maintain a growth mindset and take ownership of learning and professional development.
Requirements
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is commensurate with experience and a company-wide bonus program is available based upon Credit Union performance. Education & Skills
High School or equivalent required. One month to twelve months of similar or related experience is a plus.
