Oxford Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Teller to join our team in Norway, Maine. This is a great opportunity to work for a financially strong, member-owned credit union committed to serving the communities in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and York counties.
As a Teller, you’ll be the friendly face of Oxford FCU, providing professional, confidential, and accurate support to our members through a variety of financial transactions. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, personable, and enthusiastic about helping others achieve their financial goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Process routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc.) accurately and efficiently
- Deliver outstanding member service in a professional and confidential manner
- Assist members with account-related questions and provide guidance as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, policies, and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily branch operations
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Up to six months of cash handling, customer service, or similar experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, upbeat attitude with a passion for helping others
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling numbers and transactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning internal systems
- Strong listening and telephone communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow credit union policies and comply with regulations
