SUMMARY
Provides counseling to individuals and/or families using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educional models and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis. Works with individuals and/or families to address issues such as depression, addiction and substance abuse, stress, and problems with self-esteem.May also help with job and vocional concerns or parenting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to sisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
- Provides assessments in the areas of mental stus, personality, behavioral response pterns, relionships, and family interactions.
- Provides individual counseling and support services and family psychotherapy as approprie to training and program participant needs.
- Facilites/co-facilites counseling groups.
- Participes in trement planning with a trans-disciplinary team.
- Consults with staff, insurance provider, family, etc. about trement recommendions and progress.
- Submits service summaries and billing slips for each program participant served, indicing objectives, stregies, and outcomes obtained. Completes daily billing summaries and turns them in to approprie staff.
- Attends CCS in-house seminars as scheduled and/or approprie. Attends weekly discipline meeting and meetings with supervisor(s) as necessary.
- Ensures evaluion, progress, and discharge reports on each program participant are completed in a timely manner. Ensures adherence to accredition standards and ethics of confidentiality.
- Provides approprie supervision and in-house activities for program participants as needed.
- Actively participes in Crisis Intervention System (Beeper Team).
- Performs other reled duties and activities as required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
The requirements listed below are representive of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:
Educion and Experience:
- Master's degree in a human services field
- Two years of experience.
Certifices, Licenses, and Registrions:
- LICSW or similar licensure required.

- Medium Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
