Position Summary
We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and passionate individuals to join our Back of House (BOH) teams. BOH team members are the backbone of our restaurant, responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This is a general post covering multiple kitchen positions (dishwashers, line cooks, prep cooks, chefs, bakers, oyster shuckers, and more!) — applicants will be considered for the role that best fits their experience and our current needs.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, standards, and plating guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
Follow all food safety and health code regulations (FIFO, proper storage, temp checks)
Work efficiently and communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory
Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
Adapt to a fast-paced environment and maintain composure during peak hours
Support team members across stations as needed
Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Valid food handler's card (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Preferred:
Previous kitchen or food service experience
ServSafe certification or equivalent
Knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Experience in a high-volume restaurant setting
