MaineHealth is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Cove's Edge, a premier senior living community in Damariscotta, Maine. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in building maintenance who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and contributing to a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.
What You’ll Do:
-Perform routine and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment
-Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility issues
-Complete preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal facility operations
-Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely, professional manner
-Maintain safe, clean working conditions and follow all safety guidelines
-Support renovations, projects, and general upkeep across the campus
What We’re Looking For:
-Experience in building/facilities maintenance or a related field
-Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems
-Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
