PART-TIME CLASS A CDL DRIVER – FLOATER
Starting Pay: $33.58–$40.00/Hour*
3–4 Days Per Week | Weekend Availability Required
Mail Management Services is hiring a Part-Time Class A CDL Floater Driver to provide reliable transportation service in support of our postal operations.

SCHEDULE
This is a floater position requiring flexible availability to cover a variety of routes and shifts based on operational needs.
Routes may begin between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM
Additional mid-day routes may begin at approximately 10:15 AM or 12:15 PM
Anticipated 3–4 days per week
Weekend availability is required
Days, start times, hours, and route assignments may vary depending on coverage needs
This position is best suited for a driver who has flexibility in their schedule and is comfortable working varying routes and start times.
PAY
Starting Pay: $33.58–$40.00 per hour*
Pay includes:
$28.87/hour Regular Pay
$4.71/hour Incentive Pay
$6.42/hour Health & Wellness Pay (paid up to 40 hours per week)
*Health & Wellness Pay is used to help offset monthly health insurance premiums. Health & Wellness Pay is added to your paycheck whether or not you elect insurance coverage.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid Class A CDL
At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 5 years
Must be 23 years of age or older
Must meet company driving standards and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with applicable law
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all USPS and federally required pre-employment screenings
Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test – company paid
Basic computer skills
Must meet the physical requirements of the position
DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrive on time and ready for assigned routes
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and DVIRs
Report equipment or safety concerns to local management
Follow company policies and all applicable federal and state motor vehicle regulations
Immediately communicate weather, traffic, breakdowns, or other delays that could impact on-time postal service
Safely load, unload, sort, and handle cargo when required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Drivers may be required to load and unload cargo manually or with equipment such as carts and pallet jacks. The position requires bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, lifting 60–100 lbs., lifting up to 60 lbs. overhead, exerting a minimum of 70 lbs. of pull pressure, and safely maneuvering wheeled carts weighing up to 500 lbs.
