KBW Financial Staffing has partnered with a client in the greater Lewiston, ME area seeking to add a Cost Analyst to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing professional with strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel/BI expertise to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze overhead, material, and labor costs to support accurate product costing
- Prepare, maintain, and interpret variance reports
- Develop and enhance dashboards using Excel and business intelligence tools
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for leadership
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform inventory and production variance analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and other internal teams
Qualifications
- 2+ years of analytical experience within a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, complex formulas, etc.)
- Experience with BI and analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, etc.
- Experience working within large ERP systems (Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
Compensation: $80-95k/year, depending on experience
