Great Northern Builders is a woman-owned, award-winning general contractor serving the Seacoast of NH and Southern Maine. We specialize in high-quality residential remodeling, additions, and custom builds.

We're looking for a creative, organized Designer to guide clients through design and selections -- from contract through construction.

What You'll Do
- Guide clients through design and finish selections (fixtures, cabinetry, tile, lighting, flooring, hardware, paint)
- Confirm product specs, lead times, and availability -- flag long-lead items early
- Send selection docs for client approval; follow up to keep projects moving
- Track vendor quotes, organize digital project records, and maintain accurate info across multiple jobs
- Prepare approved selections for ordering; track deliveries and communicate delays
- Use project management software (JobTread a plus) to manage documentation
- Support field teams with clear design docs and product info
- Coordinate showroom visits, vendor meetings, and sample requests
What You Need
- Experience in residential design, selections, remodeling, showroom sales, or construction coordination
- Strong design sense + familiarity with residential finishes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable discussing budgets, timelines, and project constraints
- Strong tech skills (spreadsheets, email, quick to learn new software)
- Self-directed, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Preferred
- Ability to draft floor plans/elevations (non-structural)

Salary & Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 employee
- Pay: $90,000-$110,000 per year (salary plus production incentive plan combined)
- Paid Time Off: 2 weeks to start; additional 5 days PTO after 2 years
- Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving + Friday after, Christmas Day, and half-day Christmas Eve when applicable
