We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full time Packager + Delivery Driver to join our team in LB. Mini-Mart's commissary kitchen located at Fork Food Lab in South Portland. Our ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, able to multitask, and self prioritize tasks.
This role is essential to ensuring that our products are safely and efficiently packaged for distribution while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Candidate must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Position Duties:
Package food products efficiently and neatly while keeping a clean and organized work station
Takes direction and feedback well
Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate packaging weights and quantities
Follow established procedures for food processing
Working with a sense of urgency throughout the day
Conduct routine inspections of packaged products to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Communicates kindly, efficiently, and with respect
Has a team mentality and is willing to be flexible and problem solve
Can take ownership of mistakes, learn from them, and move forward
Assist in inventory management, including the movement of packaged goods
Collaborate with team members to optimize packaging processes and improve efficiency
Upholding high standards for yourself and others
Learning and understanding recipes, including knowledge of the correct pars and shelf life of ingredients
Can meet physical demands of position including pulling, pushing, carrying and lifting up to 50lbs, and standing for extended periods of time
Load products into the delivery van in a safe, organized, and efficient manner
Verify the accuracy of products being loaded and delivered
Unload products at customer locations and ensure proper handover
Follow a scheduled delivery route and ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
Previous experience in a food packaging or similar environment is preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Compensation + Benefits:
$18-22/hr commensurate with experience
