Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain the best possible images.
- Perform high-quality breast ultrasound scans, ensuring each study meets technical and clinical standards for interpretation by radiologists.
- Analyze images and data to identify any abnormalities or potential issues.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer and at least 1 year of breast ultrasound experience.
- Active ARDMS certification required
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Compliant with CME requirements for Breast Ultrasound
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to accurately interpret diagnostic evaluations and communicate findings to healthcare professionals.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and medical staff.
Pay: $43.00 - $47.00 per hour
